The Hotel Ballard is looking for a strong leader who enjoys going the extra mile for guests and team members, possesses excellent customer service skills, and has strong attention to detail. Cross training is available.

Due to the supervisory nature of this role, applicants with strong English ability preferred.

Weekend availability is Required.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform room inspections and ensure housekeepers are fulfilling company standards for room readiness.
• Assign room assignments and tasks; provide support for housekeepers and laundrymen.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Clean all assigned guestrooms including: dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with supplies
• Sign in and out keys daily
• Maintain inventory and proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Return and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping Office
• Follow departmental policies and procedures and service standards
• Report necessary maintenance items
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Assist laundry service
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Aspects of Position:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

SCHEDULE:

• 5 shifts a week.
• This position will be varying in schedule and hours, both depending on business levels.
• Typically, weekday shifts are 8:00am - 4:00pm, and weekend shifts from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
• Weekend and holiday availability is non-negotiable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
