The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of ensuring the highest luxury resort standards.Summary: Overall supervision of the Spa, ensuring the highest luxury resort standards of professionalism, customer service and optimum financial performance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide leadership, direction, and support to the employees of the Spa to develop a highly motivated team, who can deliver exceptional and professional service and sales standards in all areas. The Spa Supervisor will be directly responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and spa operations at an optimal level in a four-star environmentNew hire and on-going training on corporate standards, software procedures, and customer service problem resolution techniquesCollaborate with other Spa Leaders to ensure the overall and continued operational success of the SpaAssist, support and actively push spa group sales by working with the Hotel sales team and local area event plannersPrimary responsibilities; Spa Operations, Food and Beverage operations, Retail Sales, and Inventory Management (front and back of house).Ensure that all spa equipment operate at optimum performance Assist in creating treatment protocols, training manuals, training schedules and ongoing education alongside team leaders of each departmentProvide regular communication of company information, functions, benefits, events, etc. with spa staff on regular basis Conducts mandatory monthly staff meetings Create, maintain and update Book for Time informationPrepare daily check-out/closing report Monitor employee’s performance to ensure quality, standards, and efficient, friendly service to ensure established service levels are consistently achieved in compliance with hotel luxury standards and 4-star criteria Effectively document, facilitate and recover guest issues and complaintsResponsible for the health and safety of guests, employees and members in the Spa and adhere to policies and procedures.Ensure that good practices are applied to all issues in relation to employees and in conjunction with the HR Department, to assure that all property policies and procedures are followed. Responsible for maintaining and ordering inventory or supplies.Provide an effective structure for communication within the Spa at all levels.Complete any other job duties assignedSupervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise all Spa Department employees. Responsible for the delegation, coordination, and evaluation of employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include preparing for; training; planning, assigning, and delegating work; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications:Qualified candidates will possess in-depth spa operations and food and beverage knowledge managing day-to-day luxury spa resort operations, Human Resources expereince and health & safety compliance. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars a must.Demonstrated leadership, communication and team building skillsSelf-directed and able to work without supervisionEnergetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideasExcellent time management and prioritization skillsMust maintain active Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Service CertificationsCompensation Range: $22.00 to $27.00/hour. Benefits: Complete benefits package and generous company discounts.401(k)Medical, Dental and Vision Health insuranceVacation, Holiday and Sick Paid time offGenerous employee discountsSchedule: Position will work onsite and schedule may vary depending on business priorities.
