Empath Home Health, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a Home Health Scheduler. The home health scheduler assumes day-to-day responsibility to coordinate and maintain clinical staff schedules into the Kinnser system.

Job Title: Scheduler - Home Health

Location: Onsite in Sarasota, FL

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

The Home Health Scheduler:

• Schedules clinical staff to clients determined by location and availability.
• Maintains clinical staff schedules and notifies staff if one is not present.
• Schedules client appointments/visits according to care plans/evaluations and staff availability.
• Enters scheduling data into Kinnser, creates schedules.

• Performs general office duties including but not limited to word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, provides reception and telephone services.
• Verify Medicare benefit eligibility through on-line DDE checks; and if necessary, confirm beneficiary’s status with other agencies by phone.

Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the respective state/H.S. Diploma or GED.
• One (1) year home health care experience preferred in scheduling.
