Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining patient medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Duties: - Organize and manage medical records in accordance with established procedures - Ensure all records are properly labeled, filed, and stored securely - Retrieve patient records for healthcare providers as needed - Process requests for release of medical information in compliance with privacy regulations - Input and update patient information in electronic health record systems - Assist with coding and indexing of medical records - Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of patient data Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Proficiency in medical terminology, medical records management, and medical office procedures - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment - Familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred Join our team as a Medical Records Clerk to contribute to the smooth operation of our healthcare facility while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.
