POSITION SUMMARYThe Area Leader leads their team and supports the day-to-day operations of the Department. The Area Leader role coordinates all activities within their department to ensure efficient use of labor and equipment. Area Leaders ensures compliance with work instructions and quality requirements. Area Leaders addresses all of the inefficiencies within the Department. Area Leaders provide 1st level escalation, problem solving, and enabling the operator to achieve optimum performance.Working Hours: 7:00AM - 5:30PM, Monday - Thursday.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures Department adheres to all Safety requirements and guidelinesMaintain Hose Master Standards for Housekeeping/5S.Ensure all Quality check requirements are met throughout the shift.Ensure completion of Preventative Maintenance within the departmentOwn progress of orders through Department to ensure delivery dates are metMaintain a floor presence and be a resource to the operators that are running machinesEnsure employees are properly trained when assigning jobs/tasksCoordinate work in the area to meet daily goals.Conduct Shift Start Up meetings as neededIdentify any un-staffed equipment and work with supervisor to develop a plan to utilize the equipment if needed.Coordinate any changes to shop floor schedule with planningPerform any functions in the area on an as needed basis.Support Company
