Summary:
Immediate opening for a dynamic Product Manager with experience in the music and pro-audio industries. Hosa offers an excellent culture and competitive compensation package with the opportunity for a hybrid work environment. The Product Manager will work with external design and manufacturing partners to ensure the products are technically and commercially viable. Success in this role requires firsthand knowledge of the product needs of musicians, installers, audio/vision engineers, and related consumers. The ideal candidate will deeply understand full-cycle product development from ideation to production, quality control, and supply chain management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Use your creative talent and industry knowledge to help Hosa become an industry leader through innovation in new products.
· Work with external engineers to design prototypes and beta-test new products.
· Manage products through the entire cycle from inception to disposal.
· Ensure the e-commerce website is regularly updated with current/active products.
· Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Accounting teams to develop accurate budgets, pricing, and financial analysis (including cash projections)
· Work with Purchasing and Supply Chain leaders to ensure on-time, on-budget product delivery in appropriate quantities to successfully launch new products and meet customer demand.
· Provides technical expertise, training, and product demonstrations to internal departments and Hosa’s Sales Rep force.
· Work with regulatory agencies and other experts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements domestically and internationally.
· Work with external legal advisors to ensure trademarks and patents are appropriately secured and maintained.
· Represent Hosa at tradeshows such as NAMM.
· Special projects as directed by the CEO.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manages Quality Control Supervisor who supervises QC and Assembly Department employees. Is responsible for these units' overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.
· Carries out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline or equivalent experience (8 years)
· 5 years of experience in product management.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to untangle complex problems.
· Ability to deal with ambiguous problems and build solutions with proper project management.
· Excellent workflow and project management skills, with a solid attention to detail.
· Aptitude for being organized with flexibility and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
· Track record of cross-functional team leadership and ability to influence stakeholders in making data-driven decisions.
· Relentless customer focus.
· Managing multiple simultaneous projects requires frequent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills.
