Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is a two -year community/technical college that offers more than 75 associate degree, diploma, and certificate programs for students who are either seeking quick entry into the workforce or desiring to transfer to a senior institution to pursue a bachelor’s degree. HGTC offers three convenient campus locations in South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach, Conway and Georgetown.
The Technology Solutions department at Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking applications for a Collaboration Administrator. The Administrator will be responsible for providing the design, setup, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the College’s collaboration platforms and collaboration platforms’ related software and hardware. The Collaboration Administrator will report directly to the Executive Director of Technology Solutions.
$45,530 (Minimum)- $64,885(Midpoint)
A bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and experience in information technology systems or related area. Relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
Working knowledge of voice and video communications, networking protocols, local and wide area networks, computer hardware/software, and cabling standards. Ability to analyze data and provide solutions to complex problems; establish and maintain working relationships with users, Technology Solutions staff, and vendors; follow oral and written instructions; and communicate effectively.
