Minna Technologies is Hiring an Account Executive, Merchant Sales- USA Near Charlotte, NC
The role We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team to head up Merchant Sales in the US. This role is crucial to our organization's success, as we expand into the US market. As the Account Executive, Merchant Sales, you will be responsible for growing merchant sales partnerships and revenue at Minna and supporting the Director of Subscriptions Business with merchant outreach strategy. You are an outgoing person who can strike up a conversation with anyone. You have a deep understanding of the subscription landscape and a strong network of industry contacts you can call upon. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated learner, a sleuth for finding the right target audience and an enthusiastic presenter. Responsibilities:
Achieve aggressive sales revenue goals
Independently create compelling presentations, deliver persuasive pitches, and execute strategic plans to secure new partnerships and revenue opportunities.
Managing partners from inception through closure.
Utilize your strong network, connections and knowledge of large (enterprise) B2C subscription businesses, particularly on the retention and the payment side, to establish fruitful partnerships and drive business growth.
Embrace the challenge of working in an early-stage business, being proactive in identifying and addressing potential obstacles to growth.
Demonstrate self-sufficiency and independence, taking ownership of projects and initiatives, and acting decisively to drive results.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, data, tech, and marketing, to deliver high-quality subscription products and services.
Leverage your knowledge and experience with major subscription management companies to optimize our subscription business operations.
Comfortably communicate the technical aspects of our products, including integration and usage, to internal and external stakeholders
You are fully comfortable being the player, knowing in the future as we scale you will move increasingly into the coach role.
Requirements:
Prior experience working with subscription management companies
Proven track record in driving growth, preferably within enterprise B2C subscription businesses.
Strong network and connections within the enterprise B2C subscription business landscape, particularly in the payment domain
You've worked on partnerships with subscription management companies and/or major subscription-based companies
Strong business development skills, with the ability to think both strategically and tactically to identify and execute on opportunities.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of independently executing plans and initiatives.
You are development oriented, and enjoy growing your skill sets and your performance.
You are open to receiving/giving feedback, see it as an opportunity and two way dialogue.
Familiarity with early-stage businesses and the challenges associated with building a marketplace and creating a new category.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, data, tech, and marketing and also have the ability to work independently to achieve goals
Proficiency in discussing technical aspects of products, including integration and usage.
