The Project Manager will lead project implementation, process improvement and other projects as needed. It is expected that the Project Manager will lead or support multiple project portfolios. In addition, it is preferred that the Project Manager can provide guidance and technical advice regarding DOE and other federally- or state-funded programs for applicable project(s). This role will be stationed in the Sacramento area.
What HORNE Is Looking For...

• 8-10 years of experience in Project and Program Management.
• Experience with federal and/or state funding is preferred.
• Experience in Energy Efficiency is a plus.
• Experience in DOE policy and/or program management is a plus.
• Experience in managing production of work and deliverables.
• Ability to guide a team on a fast-paced project with clearly defined goals.
• Financial experience is preferred.
• Experience in managing and maintaining a budget.
• Ability to outline the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
• Ability to lead lean continuous improvement activities.
• Maintains a high-level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Performs any other duties and/or special tasks as assigned
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
