We are looking for qualified Superintendents to join our growing company!!

Horizon is a national, multi-family plumbing contractor seeking a qualified and reliable Plumbing Superintendent to join our team. We have existing projects and new opportunities coming up in Florida, Virginia, Colorado, South Carolina, as well as many other states!

*This is for a position in Tampa, FL*

In this position, you will directly manage and oversee the day to day plumbing activities on our new construction projects. Projects include multifamily apartment buildings, assisted living facilities, student housing, and hotel projects. You will administer the company's standard operating procedures to ensure a fully functional plumbing system per code. Additionally, you will help ensure that quality and customer satisfaction are maintained throughout the construction process.

Other tasks assigned to you will include but are not limited to:

- Maintain and manage inventory of onsite materials

- On a daily basis you will walk your jobsite inspecting all ongoing work to ensure an accurate, efficient and per-code install.

- Oversee schedule of installation of systems by managing, training, and directing sub crews

- Oversee and direct the daily cleanup of project debris by our sub crews

- Maintain and submit daily and weekly reporting records

- Interact with local governing jurisdiction to obtain all required inspections

- Coordinate and verify all layouts and installation of slabs, rough ins, top outs, and trim

Minimum Requirements:

- 5 years or more of previous multifamily and/or commercial construction experience is a must.

-This position requires candidates have the ability and experience necessary to manage the plumbing scope on our projects from start to finish including: Laying out and overseeing all phases of underground plumbing along with top-out and trim-out of the complete system. There is limited actual plumbing installation work that you will typically need to perform as this is a plumbing site management position.

- Thorough knowledge of Plumbing installation and the technical aspects of your trade, combined with a strong knowledge and ability to read and interpret construction plans.

- Blue Beam and Hilti Total Station experience a plus.

- Excellent organizational skills.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
