Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental procedures, medical records, insurance verification, and coding within a dental office setting.

Duties:

- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients
- Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding payments
- Maintain accurate patient records and insurance information
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Assist patients with understanding their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities

Experience:

- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting (preferably Eaglesoft or Open Dental)
- Proficiency in insurance verification and claims processing
- Knowledge of medical coding practices and procedures
- Familiarity with managed care systems and insurance policies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
