POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Estimator is responsible for lead generation, preparing estimates and negotiating contracts with customers for roofing jobs. The Sales Estimator partners with Production to ensure all contracts are viable given production availability, material availability and HORCH Roofing Standards.

The position will be performed remotely and the schedule for this job description is Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm but may be flexible depending on Horch Roofing and customers daily needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Promotes the Company in the community and generates sales leads.
• Identifies potential customers and schedules appointments to promote HORCH Roofing products and services.
• Acquires thorough customer expectations by:
• Measuring roofs and calculating square footage
• Taking Photos
• Identifying site conditions
• Drawing Birds eye views
• Discussing requested timeframes
• Conducts product presentations
• Calculates materials and labor cost to meet customer needs and quality standards using HORCH roofing approved methods, documents and systems.
• Prepare project proposals that define project target dates, schedule parameters, necessary materials and that all subcontractor agreements and insurance needs are met per customer expectations and HORCH Roofing standards.
• Partners with Production to verify production schedule and crew/material availability to support customer needs.
• Closes the sale of business by effectively negotiating the contract, clarifying customer expectations and following up with production.
• Create a production packet to be handed off to the production team consisting of the final contract, materials list, and all information needed to complete the project properly.
• Acquire customer down payments and Assist the collection of customer payments, including past due amounts as needed.
• Maintain working knowledge of Horch Roofing products, product warranties, general installation process and safety regulations by attending training and/or reviewing new materials.
• Develop strong internal and external customer relations by creating a positive experience in every interaction from initial contact to follow up interactions.
• Exhibits knowledge and understanding of the Horch Roofing Sales Handbook and follows it explicitly.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• May or may not be asked to physically access roofs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,548.00 - $75,359.00 per year
