Hopsmith is a restaurant and bar located in the Gold Coast in the historic Division Street Entertainment district.

**This position is for Fatpour Tap Works in Lincolnwood, Illinois**

Big Onion hospitality is growing and we are opening our first location in Lincolnwood, Illinois in March 2024! We are looking for an experienced AGM for our new location, and to be able to start training in the city as soon as possible. The AGM provides overall leadership, supervision and direction to positively impact business results for FOH and BOH areas under the guidance of the GM.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations

• Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction

• Manage and train staff members, including bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff

• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

• Collaborate with the General Manager and sales manager to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly

• Assist with food preparation, catering, and bartending as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service management or restaurant management is preferred

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally

• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems is a plus

• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
