Hope Rising Pregnancy Center is Hiring an Abortion Recovery Coordinator Near Kettering, OH

The Abortion Recovery Coordinator helps individuals overcome the emotional trauma and spiritual issues experienced after an abortion.

Position: Abortion Recovery Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Operations

Supervises: Abortion Recovery volunteers

Status: 25 hours per week, hourly

Scheduled hours: 5 hours per day - Monday – Friday with occasional evenings and weekends

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in counseling, ministry, or related experience equivalent

Skills: Volunteer management, program management, communication, and proficient in Microsoft Office

Qualifications:

Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

Exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position

Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and the policies and procedures of Hope Rising

Be able to respect and keep information confidential

Complete training as required

Be able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and support to volunteers

Be able to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision

Be able to commute to all centers

Essential functions:

Provide managerial oversight for Abortion Recovery programs

Provide leadership and managerial oversight for abortion recovery volunteers including selection, training, and annual evaluation

Maintain regular communication with volunteers to assess needs, answer questions, and provide support

Lead and/or monitor groups and one-on-one support as necessary

Oversee all aspects of the Abortion Recovery program including marketing, maintaining resources, forms, and updating curriculum (curriculum must be approved by the Executive Director and/or Curriculum Review Committee)

Ensure necessary client paperwork is accurately and completely documented

Oversee memorial services including purchasing plaques and other memorial items

Develop and annually update the Abortion Recovery program manual

Create and annually update the Abortion Recovery Coordinator Job Manual & Timeline

Develop annual program budget

Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Abortion Recovery program

Review monthly statistics to ensure accuracy, completeness, and targeting of strategic goals

Provide monthly written reports (by the 5th of every month) to the Director of Operations

Provide program statistics as needed

Complete the annual program assessment

Research the latest information and best practices in Abortion Recovery

Attend and participate in monthly Staff meetings held on the second Thursday of the month

Present about the Abortion Recovery program at Volunteer Trainings, Staff Meetings, and other events as requested

Other duties assigned by the Director of Operations or Executive Director

Physical and mental requirements:

Visual and auditory accuracy

Continuous repetitive grasping and manipulation of both hands

Continuous conversational communication

Occasional reaching, walking, squatting, bending, kneeling, twisting and climbing

Frequent use of personal car

Read and interpret detailed specifications

The Abortion Recovery Coordinator shall receive at least one annual written and oral evaluation by the Director of Client Support Services.

This position is eligible for paid time off, holiday pay, and retirement plan match.

- sexual conduct outside the biblical covenant of marriage between a man and a woman;
- malicious gossip;
