Hope Ranch for Women is Hiring an Executive Director Near Wichita, KS

The Executive Director is at the helm of this faith-based organization, carrying out the mission according to the strategic direction of the Board of Directors. The Executive Director maintains a broad perspective and has leadership of the total organization from day-to-day operations to financial management to human resources. The Executive Director ensures the hiring of appropriate staff and maintaining a positive effective team, maintaining a relationship with the board, and implementing mission-based strategies and fundraising goals.

Hope Ranch Mission: Hope Ranch for Women is dedicated to empowering women who have been exploited and abused to rise above their circumstances and become whole in mind, body and soul. This Christ-centered, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping thee women find themselves, their God, and a positive future with the ability to live independently as positive, productive members of society.

Methods: The two distinct yet coordinated methods used are Mentoring and a Restorative Residential Home

Objectives:

· Work closely with board of directors and committees, informing, assessing, and addressingissues that affect the organization in compliance with the Board Policies Manual

· Oversee the daily operations, providing executive direction of all program strategy, implementation, compliance, quality assurance, and program efficiency

· Proactively lead the organization in forward development within the vision and mission parameters

· Identify and implement staffing requirements for efficient operations, maintaining a strong Christian team culture and work climate that attracts and retains staff, and drives the organization’s mission

· Represent the organization and increase awareness by being the spokesperson and liaison with local media, churches, state and community and other individuals and organizations

· Develop an actionable plan for fundraising and managing monthly cash flow

· Comply with all federal, state, and local legislation and national standards for shelter organizations

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

· Create complete business plans/strategies for the attainment of goals and objectives working alongside the board of directors

· Build and lead an effective team dedicated to fulfilling the organization’s mission through highly successful program implementation, community engagement, and fundraising targets

· Oversee the activities of Program Directors and the operations of each method to identify and ensure effective service provision, goal attainment, team approach with effective and efficient use of personnel and volunteers, and success of the women we serve

· Creates a caring, trusting, open, honest, transparent yet professional environment and motivates all employees and volunteers to achieve peak productivity and performance

· Develops annual operating budget and provides direction to its purposes and uses including

management of all aspects of finances, budgets, investments, audits, taxes, cash management, insurance, agreements, contracts, leases, bids, purchasing, procurement, applications, grant writing and all financial reporting

· Ensures maintenance of statistical data and provides reports to the board monthly or as requested

· Oversees marketing and fosters cooperation, coordination and working relationships with referral sources/first responders, shelter organizations, governmental entities, officials and community organizations

· Set and meet aggressive annual fundraising goals, in partnership with board of directors, to secure financial support from foundations, corporations, individuals, and government funding sources.

· Work with staff and board on annual benefit and additional fundraising events, and oversee all external communication materials including, website, marketing materials, newsletters and social media content

· Serve as the face of the organization and actively participate in external events, both increasing visibility, credibility, and brand in the market, and developing strategic partnerships in order to increase community awareness and expand the program. Oversee the activities of the Directors who assist with presentations focusing primarily on partner organizations/referral sources/community resources.

· Ensure effective and cost-effective operation, maintenance and improvement of Hope Ranch for Women facilities.

· Enrich professional knowledge and skills through involvement in the shelter community. Ensure career development opportunities and training for staff

Skills and Qualifications

· Strong and mature faith with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Willing to lead and/or participate in bible study, prayer, devotions, and sharing the Gospel. Is an active participant in a local church.

· Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, finance or healthcare from an accredited college or university or related education and experience

· senior management experience, preferably with a nonprofit

· Strong public relations, marketing, and fundraising experience

· Knowledge of leadership and management principles related to nonprofits

· Strong verbal and written communication skills including small and large group presentations

· Proven success working with a board of directors

· Being proactive rather than reactive with an innovative approach to business planning

· Dynamic and charismatic team player who enjoys being the public face of an organization

· Ability to function independently with minimal supervision

· Ability to delegate and accomplish goals through volunteers

Preferred Qualifications

· Advanced degree, or MBA

· Experience managing budgets

· Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
