Caregiver Job Responsibilities

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) provide in home services to adults with range of mental capabilities. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the responsibilities include:

* Teaching and coaching individuals according to habilitative plans.

* Assisting with or providing basic living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene & medication.

* Providing supervision & engagement.

* Facilitating community outings.

Caregiver Job Requirements

For this position you must:

* Have at least one year experience working with children and/or a vulnerable population (mandatory)

* Be able to demonstrate basic computer skills

* 21 years of age

* Have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

* Have a High School Diploma or GED

* Pass a background check through DSHS & DCYF
