Hope Health Systems, Inc. is Hiring an Operations Support Staff Near Gwynn Oak, MD

Position Summary: Responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the executive staff members and various departments. Duties include general clerical and project-based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. General responsibility for operations of assigned departments/and or programs.

Job Requirements:

1) Education at a minimum: Bachelors/Master’s degree in personnel, industrial- organization, psychology, management, human resource or related field from an accredited college or university.

2) Work Experience: Three (3) years increasingly responsible work experience in personnel management, and human resources, preferred, two (2) of which must have been management level.

3) Full background check: Potential staff members must pass a full state and federal criminal background check.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.
  • Support the management of and increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT, Operations and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities to include design and marketing employment opportunities, dissemination of recruitment and other employment related materials to prospective employees via local, state and national recruitment events, as appropriate.
  • Provide information to applicants, prospective employees, students (externs, interns) and staff regarding operations of the department in person or the telephone, as needed.
  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Regular meetings with Executive Program Director around fiscal and operational planning.
  • Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.
  • Assist in developing training and oversight of support staff in all divisions, including DJS, OMHC, PRP, Care Coordination and ESMH
  • Maintains strict confidentiality according to the federal and state guidelines and requirements.
  • Upholds Professional Code of Ethics.
  • Maintains a cooperative relationship with co-workers, medical staff, and others.
  • Responsible for personal development to ensure current knowledge in the profession.
  • Adheres to and supports facility policies, programs, and activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and drug-free environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Policies & Procedures for Joint Commission readiness
  • Departmental workflows for each department
  • Develop Outreach & Marketing plan for Recruitment and Referral needs.
  • Update and streamline our referral processes.
  • Willingness to work beyond what is required periodically and travel including for continuing education hours.

Working Conditions:

  • Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
  • Regular exposure to patients with a variety of physical and psychiatric problems
  • May include some exposure to infection, injury, and biomedical and biochemical waste.

Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, bending, average range of hearing and vision.

Mental Demands: Ability to give, receive and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials and articulate goals and action plans. Must understand people from all works of life and be able to communicate effectively with them.

Reports To: Executive Program Director, Program Director and CEO

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
