Hopco is Hiring a Human Resources / Executive Assistant Near Fort Myers, FL
Complete orientation, onboarding, and compliance training with all new hires.
Update employee information, upload documents, and verify accuracy of same in HRIS.
Assist in all aspects of benefit enrollment and annual open enrollment.
Administer employee wellness program.
Assist employees with timekeeping system.
Perform exit interviews, provide separation documents, respond to and manage Unemployment claims and appeals.
Keep HR Manager updated with employee relations concerns.
File EEOC and ACA reporting annually.
Maintain HRIS and employee records in compliance with company protocols and applicable legal regulations.
Post open positions utilizing HRIS, company website, utilize other recruiting means as needed.
Communicate with supervisors regarding job vacancies; keep them updated on a regular basis.
Review applications and phone screen candidates daily.
Schedule interviewing with available supervisors to ensure timely processing of applicants.
Manage Workers’ Compensation claims. Provide instructions and claim information to employees. Follow-up with employees and obtain necessary documentation, including drug screen results. Keeps open communication with Work Comp Carrier regarding open claims, coordinate annual audit.
Serve as payroll processing backup to Human Resources Manager.
Perform data entry, record management, scanning, and file organization
Monitors the status of assignments and projects for assigned Leadership.
Responsible for preparing meeting minutes.
Maintains appointment calendars.
Anticipates needs by gathering records, reports, correspondence, or other specific information and assists in preparation for meetings.
Answers and screens telephone calls. Returns telephone calls as needed.
Composes correspondence and distributes to the appropriate individuals.
Prepares various documents and handles confidential matters in accordance with policies and procedures.
Assists with compiling financial, statistical data and reports as assigned.
Responsible for receiving, sorting and distributing mail. Receives packages and signs off on delivieries.
Coordinates travel as appropriate.
Special projects as necessary.
EDUCATION
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge preferred.
