As the Branch Manager and Vice President Service Center Operations you will play a pivotal role in implementing strategic initiatives, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a culture of exceptional customer service. The Branch Manager is accountable for managing the overall profitability and growth of a financial Service Center, looking for ways to generate new memberships and deepen existing ones while continuously focusing on an exceptional member experience. This role encompasses the development and mentorship of the staff through coaching. Additionally, the Branch Manager takes the lead in synchronizing branch resources for optimal efficiency and fostering collaboration with other business units. A significant aspect of this role also entails active participation and engagement in community activities and initiatives.

The Branch Manager and Vice President of Service Center Operations is responsible for:

  • Manage operations and branch profitability.
  • Discover market needs and find solutions that will increase wallet share and broaden services.
  • Develop team members and others to the highest potential to achieve business results.
  • Deepen employee engagement and foster a mission-focused culture.
  • Serve as a trusted resource and advisor for members, staff, and the management team.
  • Impact lead generation, positive sales and service experience.
  • Identify opportunities for creating efficiencies and branch balance sheet growth.
  • Recruit and retain high performers and identify bench strength to achieve desired service levels and prepare for future growth and innovation.
  • Ensure that operating procedures, training initiatives and business plans are appropriately communicated, followed, and monitored.
  • Recommend and implement areas of improvement of policies and processes.
  • Ensure branch compliance with all regulatory agencies, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures including annual Bank Secrecy/OFAC
  • Maintain user-level knowledge of software systems.
  • Responsible for member account maintenance.
  • Process transactions in a proficient and accurate manner within security guidelines and with few errors.
  • Transition between responsibilities effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of the members.
  • Handle all escalated member issues to effective resolution and follow up with internal team or Senior Management, as necessary.e only – PM19

Ideal Candidates Have:

  • 2-4-year degree in Business or related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in management in a retail setting, financial service center, call center or lending business.
  • Lending experience required, post high school courses in lending, compliance, etc. will be considered.
  • User-level knowledge with software systems; Core, Lending, Budget, Human Capital Management, Compliance and Coaching.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Sales and service background and strong sales coaching skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, peers, employees and vendors, and the ability to effectively resolve conflict.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and services: deposit, consumer loan, and small business
  • Knowledge of markets, competitor activities, problems and developing trends within assigned location
  • Considerable judgment is required. Must analyze complicated factual situations and apply functional principles and develop solutions.
