Hood Container Corporation is Hiring a Machine Operator Near Chicago, IL
Responsibilities and/or Qualifications:
- Set up, adjust, and run flexo folder gluer presses and ancillary equipment for production runs.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure its optimum operation.
- Troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance repairs as needed.
- Interpret job order information, specs, and requirements.
- Ensures all machine set-ups are done correctly.
- Directs crew’s activities to ensure efficient production.
- Maintains accurate records of production, waste, production time, preventive maintenance etc.
- Ensures that production goals are met or exceeded.
- Monitor Quality
- Performs various other job duties and projects as assigned.
Three or more years’ experience as an operator in production manufacturing. Proven experience as an effective communicator and problem solver.
