Vintun, LLC has an opening for a Technical Editor for the Commander Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) established Program Manager, Wargaming Capability (PM WGC) to develop and field a system of systems to fulfill the capability gaps identified in the Wargaming Capability Capabilities Development Document (CDD). Vintun provides enterprise support to PM WGC.
The PM Wis responsible for all aspects of acquiring the capabilities defined within the WCDD that will focus on providing a state of the art Wargaming Center. Vintun provides direct support to the PM WTeam in their duties to enable the development and implementation of the necessary wargaming capabilities for the new USMC Wargaming Center. We are actively seeking to fill a position for an experienced Technical Editor supporting the PM WGC.

This is 100% Remote position within the United States. Office location in Stafford, Virginia is an option.

Job Description/Tasks:

• Provide direct technical editing and quality assurance editing of all documentation in support of the Vintun PM for the Wargaming Capability.
• Review written material and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content.
• Command of English grammar. Review written material and edit for grammar, spelling, punctuation, proper usage, Government or company standards, Government or corporate style, format, and editorial accuracy.
• Support assisting in document reviews and consolidating Government and Contractor feedback received on documentation into a Comment Resolution Matrix (CRM) to accurately capture reviewer comments for adjudication.
• Assist and support the quality assurance process for PM WGC.
• Technical editing and quality assurance editing of at a minimum the following documentation: Monthly Status Reports, presentation materials, meeting minutes, acquisition and engineering documentation, etc.

• Experience and familiarity with Naval Correspondence Manual, as well as specific MCSC standards/templates.
• Expertise in all Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Pro.
• Experience supporting Marine Corps Systems Command
• Experience: 3 years or more in a related experience
• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Work independently in a fast paced, high visibility program office while balancing multiple workloads under general direction

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. Possible lifting up to 25lbs.
