We are seeking a Project Manager to execute projects for the Sheet Manufacturing business and drive sustained profitable growth. The Project Manager’s primary objective is to lead a team of engineers and technicians in the pursuit and delivery of projects related to the Sheet Manufacturing market. This market includes pulp & paper, aluminum, rubber, plastic films, and OEMs making products where a continuous sheet is produced. The projects will be delivered using Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Quality Control Systems (QCS), and Continuous Web Solutions (CWS) product lines as applicable.
The successful candidate will provide leadership and coordinate activities, will help achieve financial targets for revenues and profits, and will assist in growing the business through execution of assigned projects. This position will require close coordination with the local sales account managers, engineering team resources, and business management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage assigned control systems projects to ensure scope is delivered safely, on time, on budget and with high customer satisfaction
• Work with customers, sales, estimators, and business management to develop project scope and deliverables
• Manage engineers, technicians and other resources assigned to projects
• Build quality into execution plans by following Honeywell Global Project Management (GPM) requirements and ISO procedures
• Control projects within required performance criteria (cost, schedule, quality, client satisfaction etc.)
• Work with sales and service to promote and deliver project change orders and upsell
• Follow all internal Honeywell processes for reporting project progress to business management. This includes monthly project reviews and all project gates
• Be responsible for billing the customer as per the contract and insuring payments are collected in a timely fashion
• Ability to travel /- 50�ility to travel /- 50%
• Locations: Houston, TX or Duluth, GA, Charlotte, NC, Fort Washington, PA, Torrance, CA, Hamilton, NJ.
