Summary of Duties:

• The Technician III ISC performs electronic and/or electro-mechanical production fabrication or assembly operations, including repair, modification, and retrofit
• Works from prints, sketches, specifications, job layouts, and other written, visual and/or oral instructions
• Conducts fabrication of cables; tests cables, equipment setup, equipment operations, and monitoring and measuring; gathers data; builds prototypes/units and test equipment
• Soldering of electronic components and wire using a microscope
• Inspect, including self-inspect, and perform tests of various product components
• Use of hand and power tools to assist in the fabrication of cables and electronic assemblies
• Works in accordance with general objectives, improving and refining devices and methods, as necessary
• Use of Six Sigma and Lean practices to improve daily work
• Participation in team related activities
• May perform other duties as required
