Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell. You will be the technical leader and be the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule and technical issues. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive overall program performance.
Provide technical project engineering support for ongoing production and new business activities related to Honeywell’s Momentum Control product lines. You will work in a team environment on a variety of momentum control products from the proposal, design, and analysis segments through manufacturing and test, to support of delivered hardware. You will support all technical aspects of programs, including management and coordination of the technical team, design and development, design reviews, scheduling, budgets, staffing, baseline control, risk management, technical customer interface, milestone management and failure investigations and problem resolution. You will be required to support proposal efforts for proposals ranging from minor scope changes on existing programs to a complete proposal effort for new business. You must be capable of requirements evaluation and flowdown; design, modification, and test; troubleshooting problems and leading failure investigations; authoring of related technical documentation; estimation of development costs and schedules; and reviewing / approving the work of other team members. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent presentations skills, an ability to generate concise status reports for customers and management, and an ability to interface directly with customers and management in meetings and telecoms. You must be adept at facilitating cross-functional coordination across the entire program team.
