THE POSITION
As a Sr. Director, Supplier Quality Engineering and NPIhere at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the higheststandards of quality across our supply chain and the on-time and high-qualitylaunch of our new products. Your leadership will be instrumental inestablishing and maintaining robust supplier quality processes, drivingcontinuous improvement initiatives, and fostering strong partnerships with oursuppliers.
You will report directly to our Vice President,Procurement Operations, and you will work out of either our Houston, TX orCharlotte, NC office location. Travel isanticipated to be approximately 30% - 40% of your time as being on site at keysupplier and Honeywell manufacturing plants will be important to your success.
In this highly visible and impactful role, you will beresponsible for leading our supplier quality and new product introduction teammembers and developing standard, best-in-class SQE and NPI processes andimplementing these across all of Industrial Automation’s businesses. This leader will successfully transform theorganization from its current state of reactive problem-solvers, to one whereearly engagement combined with robust and disciplined processes will betterensure the quality and performance of our material supply chain from firstshipments through end-of-life. You willdrive rapid Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations to preventdefects and report to senior leadership. You will also enhance supplier andorganization quality culture through coaching and technical engagement,instilling supplier accountability through zero defect plans (ZDP), mistakeproofing, and advanced product quality planning (APQP). As a people leader atHoneywell, you will play a critical role in developing and supporting ouremployees to help them perform at their best and drive change across thecompany. As a key leader, you will continuously work to build a strong, diverseteam by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, drivingretention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.
