ABOUT THE ROLE
Implement material purchasing, material planning, production planning, inventory control, shipping/receiving and stores functions within Honeywell Aerospace, to ensure correct supply levels for operation. You are responsible for resolve material related issues due to supply based problem, inventory errors or demand changes. You are the liaison of cross functions and internal stakeholders, such as planning, operation and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
· Effectively manage the production plan to meet daily build rates and ensure date fidelity on finish dates.
· Ensure adequate material availability and capacity availability prior to release of production orders to operations.
· Monitor production operations progress to ensure that build execution is occurring as planned. Drive actions to address and resolve aging orders (aged WIP).
· Act as the focal point for reporting and resolving all issues impacting production schedule execution. Develop (if needed) and monitor recovery plans.
· Lead/support efforts to understand root cause and corrective actions for process failures relating to execution of the production plan.
· Participate in tiered accountability process
· Completes work with some supervision.
· Support the continued progression of HOS.
