Datamatics Global Services Ltd is Hiring a Production Scheduler/ Material Planner Near Phoenix, AZ

Job Description

JOB TITLE --- Production Scheduler/ Material Planner

LOCATION ----- Phoenix,Arizona,85034

Duration ----- 6-12 Months Contract (Extendable)

Shift - 6AM - 2:30PM

Dictated pay rate is $21.00 an hour.

Description:

Responsible for the planning and scheduling of materials through the production schedules. May coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering. Requires a high school diploma with at least 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May direct and lead the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Under minimal supervision, coordinates and expedites the flow of equipment to vendors. Establishes and communicates completion dates for deliverable.
- Administratively receive equipment from vendors and coordinate with leads to process back into our system.
- Coordinates the interface between logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer.
- Coordinates with customers to ensure desired logistics objectives, priorities, and schedules are met and communicated to management.
- Coordinates with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services functional areas as appropriate in regard to logistical functions performed under contract.
- Coordinates and conducts pick-up and delivery of measuring equipment with customers, employees, and management.
- Follows established standard work instructions ensuring quality throughout the processes.
- Packages equipment for shipping, ensuring all required paperwork is attached appropriately and billing the appropriate accounts.
- Contacts vendors by mail, email, or phone to coordinate RMA/RFQ's, expected completion, tracking of shipments. Update system to reflect most current status.
- Experience with Microsoft office.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills:

Familiar with hand tools.

Education:

HS Diploma

Must have a valid US driver’s license.
- Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
