Job Description
JOB TITLE Engineering Support Specialist (Order Management / Product Data Management )
LOCATION South Bend, IN - 46628
Duration 3-6 Months Contract (Extendable)
Shift - 1st Shift (8-5)
PAY RATE : $28 / hr
Description :
Evaluate parts in our Product Data Management system for the following :
o Export & HTS Codes
o Correct Design Authority
o Identify disconnected parts in our Product Data Management system (that exist in our Order Management System)
Evaluate parts in our Order Management System for the following :
o Correct Design Authority
- Locate native files required for processing Engineering Change Notices.
- Update basic meta data for parts and documents in our Product Data Management system.
- Download marked prints from our Product Data Management system for review and updates.
- Create new part / document revisions in our Product Data Management system.
Assists all levels of engineers with their tasks and assignments. May require an associate degree or its equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
