The Facilities Engineer II works with Maintenance & Production Supervisors daily, planning & scheduling and solving site wide issues. Be proficient in using Shared Points, Excel, Word, Power Point, and some SAP knowledge is a plus. Have a strong understanding of the parts ordering process for both Maintenance and Production materials, i.e., creating and maintaining spare parts. Must be able to communicate and articulate to internal and external customers. Will be responsible for setting up and managing contractor purchase agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the maintenance scheduling team to develop daily work assignments for the maintenance trades, which should have the following roles in attendance.
• All First Line Maintenance Supervisors
• Maintenance Manager
• Reliability Engineers
• Crew Leaders
• Others as appropriate
• Finalize the next day’s work schedule by 1430 hrs. such that it can be available for the daily maintenance work schedule meeting.
• Look ahead for possible opportunities to complete PMs for all shifts.
• Monitor and upkeep of the Service Request share point.
• For each step of our process, be safety and quality conscious.
• Strong team-working skills and beliefs in the benefit of teamwork and work processes.
• Manage critical spares
• Create a system to inventory critical spares.
