As a Sr Advanced Aerospace Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for performing software development activities for Next Gen Flight Management System (NGFMS) products, specifically in aircraft performance and guidance functionalities. You will have the opportunity to develop and debug complex embedded software using C/C programming language. Your role will involve requirement analysis and development, software design, development, and integration, customer interaction and support, software verification and validation, and utilizing strong analytical and software development skills. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the development of safety-critical avionics software and the advancement of flight management systems. Your expertise in processes, standards, and system engineering norms, such as DO 178B/C, will be highly valued. Additionally, your experience in working on engineering flight simulation tools and system integration benches will contribute to the success of our projects.
