Aversan is Hiring a Sr Advanced Software Engineer Near Phoenix, AZ
Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com ) is a reputable engineering company that provides expertise in the aerospace and defense industries. We are currently seeking a qualified Sr Advanced Software Engineer, Responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of Datalink Communication applications to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.Responsibilities:
- Embedded C coding
- Layered communication protocol development experience
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred)
- Creating test cases for software based upon use cases derived from the system and software requirements
- Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.
- Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems.
- Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.
- Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area
- 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- May report directly to a project lead or manager.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
