Currently, we are looking for a top-performing Hotel Housekeeping House person.

Homewood Suites by Hilton in Daphne, AL is looking for a Hotel Housekeeping House person with excellent people skills who is motivated and attentive to provide our guests with a memorable experience at our hotel. We need a multi-talented individual who can perform a variety of tasks. Responsibilities for the Hotel Housekeeping House person include keeping hotel public areas clean, such as hallways, meeting rooms, and lobbies. This position requires the ability to work any day of the week during the hours of 8 am and 4 pm (as scheduled)

The Hotel Housekeeping House person will also make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and complete any special projects as directed by housekeeping managers. The ideal Hotel Housekeeping House person candidate has one or more years of experience in a house person or housekeeping role and a strong commitment to excellent customer service. Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Housekeeping house person include:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the guest room hallways, lobby restrooms, meeting space, outdoor patios, as well as lobby seating areas and other work spaces
  • Deliver requested amenities such as cribs, blankets, towels, etc. to guest rooms
  • Check all allocated floors at the start of each shift and during the day to collect garbage, soiled linen, and other items as directed by management
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service by anticipating and responding quickly to visitors’ requests
  • Restock linen supply on each floor by transporting clean linen to the housekeeping storage facilities

Requirements for the Hotel Housekeeping House person include:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience as a house person or housekeeper preferred
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
  • Hard worker with solid time management, organizational and communication skills
  • Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
