Some Key Areas of Responsibility include:

  • Welcome all guests and confirm bookings upon their arrival
  • Act as a point of contact for guests who require help or information and attend to their wants and needs
  • Arrange activities, excursions, and transportation for hotel guests per their request
  • Provide the best local recommendations, gather in-depth knowledge about the premises as well as surrounding venues and businesses
  • Handle and distribute messages and mail, as well as redirect calls by answering the phone and making reservations
  • Answer any issues or complaints made by guests and come up with solutions quickly

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • One year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred
  • Knowledge of the local area to make recommendations for a variety of services
  • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
  • Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
