As a Caregiver with Homewatch CareGivers, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and comfort. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene
- Providing medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of systems for assisting individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Familiarity with assisted living or nursing home environments
- Ability to work with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
