REAL ESTATE LOAN PROCESSOR

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Location: 1205 Hwy 60 West, Faribault, MN 55060 (ONSITE POSITION)

What will you do:

Provide loan-processing support for all Real Estate lending programs. Request, prepare and organize Real Estate loan documentation to ensure accurate and timely loan closings. Be a point of contact for members, mortgage staff and third parties regarding Real Estate loan processes to ensure all files are current, accurate and communication is complete.

• Manage the status of incoming loan documents to ensure complete and accurate files.
• Assist in the communication of proper information to members and the necessary third parties.
• Effectively manage all loans in process for outstanding documents and conditions.
• Call borrower, Real Estate agents and/or closing agents to request specified and required documents.
• Order and review all third-party documents required for loan approval.
• Provide members with accurate, timely and technical information necessary to meet their needs.
• Meet with members as needed throughout the loan process, from application to closing.
• Provide on-going communication to members regarding the status of loan request as needed.
• Arrange and schedule the loan-closing appointment for members, Real Estate agents and closing agents.
• Assemble documents for delivery to closing agents or lending officer for closing.
• Prepare and ensure timely delivery of completed loan packets for loan closings.
• Ability and desire to learn and implement updated rules and regulations as it pertains to real estate loans, from application to closing.
• Be knowledgeable of and adhere to all Credit Union policies and procedures.
• Confidentiality of member information is required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What you have:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred
• 1 years of related work experience in loan processing
• 1 years of customer service experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Detail orientated and ability to prioritize activities.
