Homestead is hiring caregivers for our senior living facility to work in Brighton.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Homestead, we are looking for Caregivers in our senior living community in Brighton. Currently we have days and afternoons available, we are not offering midnight shifts

Compensation and Benefits:

- Starting caregivers at $16 per hour

Skills we are looking for:

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong ability to provide physical and emotional support

- Ability to work in a team and assist other team members

Responsibilities:

- Assisting with care needs, such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting

- Encouraging resident involvement within the community

- Maintaining cleanliness of the environment through light housekeeping

- Assessing for changes in resident condition and communicating immediately to supervisor

- Completing all required documentation and charting

- Communicating professionally with families, support services, and coworkers

- Complying with safety and health standards, including infection control procedures

- Assisting other team members with their duties

- Performing other assigned duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED

- Experience working with the elderly preferred

- Must be able to pass a criminal background check

- Must be 18 years old

- Reliable transportation
