Homestead Companies is hiring for a Concierge at our student housing property, University Village! University Village has 1,126 units/1831 beds.

Purpose: As a Concierge, you will be providing assistance to our tenants at University Village and help with maintaining the facility by working together with the rest of the team to ensure that the property is well cared for and presentable at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Opening and closing tasks, such as locking/unlock the front doors, side fitness door, interior fitness door, and the interior fitness door upstairs; turning music on/off; set up pool table and shuffleboard table; turn on/off all the TV’s including gym and upstairs; make sure coffee beans are filled up all the way; restock cups, lids, creamers, sugar, syrup; clean the overfill area of both the coffee machine and the creamer machine; run a full sanitize cycle to clean everything up; set out leasing flags and A Frames; make sure printer is on and set up; help morning cleaning crew; set up behind the front desk until leasing staff gets here; empty/stack dishwasher
• Walk around and make sure there are no messes or damage
• Help leasing and management staff
• Keep residents from getting unruly
• Make sure the printing service remains running
• Check the computers in the lab and delete any documents saved by residents.
• Check the counter on tanning booth monthly and record hours.
• Do daily walks and initial sheet in back room of leasing office.
• Clean glass on all doors and gym mirrors when needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work evening shifts
• Good customer service skills
