HomeServices of America is Hiring an Office Administrator Near Henderson, NV

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Nevada Properties is currently looking for an Office Administrator with impeccable follow-through and exceptional communication skills, as well as organizational and problem-solving skills. We have an exciting opportunity for a focused, energetic, and driven Office Administrator to join our Henderson office location.

The Office Administrator provides administrative support for all branches in Nevada. The primary responsibility of this position is to process closing transactions submitted by the branch office administrators. This position ensures that all company policies and procedures are being followed to ensure proper payment of commissions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming agent’s commission checks via mail or courier and prepare checks for deposits by accurately logging checks. Identify and notify agents of checks received to ensure prompt turnaround of payments. Maintain record of all check copies and deposit log.
  • Run GL report in DPN and verify with admin docs received from NV Office Administrator as well as Arizona Brokerage Manager.
  • Process final closings for Nevada and Arizona to pay out commissions to agents in both states in the DPN back-office system. Verify and update as needed all ancillary information.
  • Ensure that all agent payments are processed according to their commission schedule agreement in their ICA’s; up to and including commission splits, franchise fees, E&O fees, garnishments, retirement contributions, credits given at closing, off the top outgoing referral payments, etc.
  • Process any adjustments to commission payments as they arise.
  • Separates and scans all closing backup (edits, GL, closing documents, etc.) into each branch folder to ensure proper records are maintained for auditing and legal purposes.
  • Run and submit daily the Daily Pending and Closed report for HSoA for all three states.
  • Create monthly company and branch rankings for all three states based on month-end reports. Create posters for each branch with those rankings, post rankings on the VAC.
  • Assists with data entry of transactions in the DPN back-office program for Nevada as needed.
  • Fields questions from branch managers, branch BTA’s, and agents regarding checks received, commissions paid out, referral check information, etc.
  • Sends out copies of checks, title packets, earning reports, and transaction details to agents and branch managers.
  • Works on any projects or reporting needs that may arise where assistance is needed.

Perform any additional office administrator-related responsibilities as requested or assigned.

  • Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners.
  • Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities. Take personal initiative for technical and professional development.
  • Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
  • Three to five years of related experience and demonstrated leadership skills is a plus.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of real estate, title and/or mortgage business is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Google Drive a plus.
  • Exceptional oral, written communication skills, and organizational and interpersonal skills. A strong customer-service focus. 
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; initiative, attention to detail, and a team player.
  • Knowledge of DPN and SkySlope preferred.
  • Must be flexible for last-minute
  • Able to meet deadlines and handle high volume workload in a fast-paced
  • Independent thinking
  • Ability to handle stress and work under pressure.

Actual wage is based upon education and experience.
