The Meat and Seafood Merchandiser is responsible for providing expert meat training in cutting procedures, merchandising, SOPs, operational & category management standards and production efficiencies assuring the best in Meat Department merchandising and presentation standards.
This position will execute effective schematics and plan-o-grams in fresh meat, seafood, butcher block full service, frozen meat, and processed meat categories in all stores.
He or she will be immersed in meat category management to provide information in driving the best in meat merchandising.

Work schedule: Open availability including weekends and overnight travel. Willing to travel up to 50% to 75% of the work week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years as a Meat Manager demonstrating progressive growth. Preferably, 3 to 5 years as a successful Meat Merchandiser, Meat Buyer, or Meat Supervisor.
Education: High School or GED or equivalent experience and possess superior meat merchandising and analytical skills. Must be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS One Note, MS Teams, Plum Scale Software and Micro Strategy.
