Graphic Production Artist

McLiney Lumber & Supply is looking for a talented Production Artist for an in-person position to assist with catalog production for print and digital projects across the HomeBase retail environment. In this role you will contribute to the process of catalog & digital advertising production, in addition to collecting, processing, checking, and uploading files to our printer.

Our ideal candidate has 2 to 4 years of experience in graphic design, print production, or visual arts, and an extensive portfolio to demonstrate clear knowledge and expertise. In addition, a keen eye for detail along with a healthy mix of creative and technical expertise is essential.

What You’ll Bring:

• Assist in the preparation of final press-ready files based on supplied specifications!
• Make various forms of sourced artwork, copy and selling features production ready.
• Provide art and image retouching, COB images using clipping paths and additional image manipulation.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise with the creative team.
• Create monthly catalogs, digital ads, in-store flyers & signs, email blasts and social media posts while organizing & saving reference art for future projects.

What We Need:

• Solid knowledge of relevant software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite. Plus, be comfortable using Mac/Apple hardware.
• Experience with digital content such as websites, social media, online advertising and email campaigns.
• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks and work under deadline pressures while maintaining a strong attention to detail & organization.
• Ensures proper usage of company trademarks and identity materials.
• Creative writing, copy-editing and proof-reading skills are a plus.

Minimum 2 years of experience.
