Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. The Assistant General Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of both Home2 and Tru hotels, overseeing daily operations, driving guest satisfaction, and supporting the General Manager in achieving business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational excellence and financial targets.
  • Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments.
  • Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff members to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning and development.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and effective manner, striving to resolve issues and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments and external partners to coordinate activities and maximize efficiency.
  • Assist with budget preparation, expense control, and revenue management to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in hotel management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals and deliver exceptional service.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Knowledge of local market trends and competitive landscape is a plus.
