This is a PART TIME position (3-4 days per week). Responsible for overseeing the property grounds inside and outside, public areas, and hotel’s guest rooms. Preventative maintenance must be performed to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations. To ensure hotel maintenance standards are achieved, this position will be responsible for preforming a variety of task. From preventative maintenance, repairs, and janitorial duties, they must strive to keep the hotel at a high-quality level.

Hours: Must be able to work mornings/evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Scheduled days and hours will vary week to week.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Inspect and maintain all building components regularly.
• Responsible for trash pickup for the exterior of the hotel and interior.
• Assisting with janitorial duties around the hotel
• Maintain saltwater pool
• Follow up with vendors to ensure proper work is being completed.
• Maintain adequate supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Must make sure all appliances and bathroom fixtures are in working condition.
• Maintain overall look of the hotel, planting flowers, watering trees, changing light bulbs, repairing appliances, painting inside and out, putting together or repairing furniture etc.
• Making emergency repairs, even during times when they are not officially scheduled to work.
• Making sure guest have a comfortable stay at a clean, well maintained and safe environment.
• Any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or other Management.
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Must be able to operate hotel van/shuttle to assist guests (Valid Driver's License Required)

Qualifications and Skills

• Knowledge of maintaining a saltwater pool
• Basic painting/plumbing/HVAC knowledge
• Need to be good with their hands and know the tools they need for each job.
• Capable of identifying issues and finding solutions.
• Respectful and polite behavior to guest and co-workers.
• Passionate, hard worker able to prioritize and multitask.
• Should exert sound judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and still have high standards.
• Able to work alone or in a team environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry 40 -50lbs
• Must be able to stand and walk for extensive periods of time.
• Be able to bend, stoop, twist and raise arms over head.
• Must be flexible and reliable with scheduled work times.
• Must have a valid driver's license
