Overview:
We are seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hotel environment and interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Operate phone systems to answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department
- Process reservations and cancellations accurately
- Perform night audit duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel management, or related field preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Familiarity with guest service software systems is advantageous
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is beneficial
- High school diploma or equivalent required
