Position Summary :

Answer phone, take customer orders, provide accurate and timely information, and make appropriate menu recommendations. Deliver the correct product to each carry-out guest and process payments for all carry-out orders.

Create a positive first impression by quickly welcoming every guest with a smile. Effectively and efficiently seat guests.

Assist service team in delivering a positive dining experience. Monitor dining room flow and manage an accurate wait list.

• Work from verbal and written orders
• Greet guests via phone. Follow the script with your name and restaurant location.
• Take clear, concise food and beverage orders. Verify the order with guest to insure it is correct.
• Assist customers by recommending and suggesting menu items.
• Sell items from the menu and up-sell desserts, beverages, and upgrades. Quote prices and describe features of items. Answer general questions.
• Computerize bill, itemized lists, and tickets showing amount due.
• Accept cash or cash equivalents for payment and provide correct change and receipts.
• Assist in inventory, rotation, stocking of shelf items and other merchandise. Applicable to area of responsibility. Includes, soda, paper goods and condiments.
• Assists in restaurant marketing by distributing carry out and catering menus or other promotional materials to restaurant guests.
• Follows SOP regarding customer service and phone procedures. Specifically follows phone scripts regarding sales techniques and routing customer calls.
• Use POS System, calculator, and phone.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Food Handler certification
• Safety shoes
• Constantly be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older
• Able to work weekends. (Friday-Sundays) and some weekday shifts.
