POSITION SUMMARY

RP Sandhills is seeking a General Radiologist for Independent Contracting shifts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of diagnostic radiology. This opportunity reads for a 452-bed hospital ( Southeastern Regional Medical Center) who sees over 15,000 inpatient and over 60,000 emergency room patients annually.

LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW

This position is based in Lumberton, NC with proximity to Fayetteville and Interstate 95 and is known as the halfway point between New York and Florida. This area offers something for everyone, mountains, beach, or golf.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Fellows and residents welcome to apply
• Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Current license or ability to obtain license in North Carolina
• Candidates on a J1 visa will be considered
• Experience Reading PET, Prostate and Breast MRI a plus
