Join our rapidly growing company in Clearwater, FL as a Construction Project Manager and benefit from a competitive package that includes a $3,000 sign-on bonus, a base pay of $62,400, and potential production pay and bonuses that could exceed $75,000 per year!
Upon achieving the position of senior project manager, your pay will rise to a base salary of $78,000.
We are actively seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager to play a crucial role in our team. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing project plans, managing subcontractor relationships, and ensuring project deadlines are met. Additionally, we are looking for candidates with the following preferred qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction projects to ensure adherence to plans and timely completion.
- Manage onsite personnel and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.
- Uphold high standards of workmanship in line with original plans and specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in studying, verifying, and comparing a Scope of Work, a Budget Sheet, and a Set of Plans, with a keen ability to discover and address all omissions before project commencement.
- Demonstrated capacity to learn and adeptly follow our administrative and project management procedures from project initiation to completion.
- Expertise in verifying formwork against a set of plans, ensuring precision and compliance with project specifications.
- Proven experience in supervising concrete pours, showcasing the ability to manage and oversee this critical construction process.
- Skill in ensuring proper execution of block work by subcontractors to meet project specifications.
- Competency in measuring for a truss order, including calculating roof pitch, to contribute to accurate project planning and execution.
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills, including the ability to handle upset clients diplomatically and prevent exacerbating the situation.
- Proven track record of managing subcontractors, ensuring their punctuality, and obtaining honest and reliable results against Purchase Orders.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities, capable of spanning attention across 5 to 8 concurrent projects without appearing scattered or overwhelmed.
Work Hours:
- Full-time in-office or on-site, with day-to-day variations.
- Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
