Position Title: Entitlement Specialist

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

The Entitlement Specialist develops meaning and trusting relationships with clients. The Entitlement Specialist assists in essential activities with the client and informing them about their entitlements. This position is located at a Sanctuary Facility which includes individuals and or families who have left their home country seeking international protection from dangers in their home country.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Assist with escorting clients to support service appointments
• Assist Case Managers, Client Care Coordinators, and the Director of Social Services
• Collaborate with the social services department to use empowerment and recovery-oriented approaches with clients and groups.
• Assist with completing applications for eligibility, enrollment, and gathering information for application process for individuals and families in need of assistance with food, financial, medical and other social services benefit programs
• Assess what type of assistance the family or individual may need
• Obtain the necessary documentation for paperwork and application
• Explain benefit programs
• In the event of an emergency, Essential Personnel are required to report to work as scheduled
• Duties and responsibilities are subject to change based upon assessment of company needs

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with behavioral health services preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing)
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a part of a team
• Must be organized and technologically savvy
• Bilingual English/Spanish and or Ukraine is also preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 per year
