We are looking for Live-in Caregivers!!

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide support and assistance to elderly individuals in their homes or residential care facilities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by helping them with their daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being.

You will be providing non-medical live-in home care which includes companionship and/or assistance with independent activities of daily living (IADLs) and activities of daily living (ADLs) for persons who by reason of advanced age, physical disability, or mental deficiency need additional support.

A Live-In caregiver is expected to stay at the client’s home at all times unless they accompany you or you are running errands for them and the situation dictates that the client is safe to be left alone (this will be indicated in the Care Plan).

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, tidying up, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for the client.
• Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and recreational activities.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to the client, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Assist with mobility and transfer, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant observations or incidents.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of elderly care principles, practices, and techniques.
• Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with elderly individuals.
• Demonstrated patience, compassion, and empathy towards clients.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per day
