Responsibilities

• Transcribe all incoming orders and forward to appropriate staff
• Coordinate with physicians’ offices for needed notes, orders, or clarification of orders
• Coordinate/manage ordered patient labs then follow-up, document, and forward results
• Order and restock all supplies needed for labs
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
• Manage phone calls of a clinical nature
• Receive, sort, and distribute daily faxes including faxed orders
• May perform other clinical and clerical duties as they arise

Qualifications*
1. Must hold a current and unencumbered Nursing License in Virginia (or a multi-state license that includes Virginia).
2. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
3. SN must understand the issues related to the delivery of home health care and be able to problem-solve effectively.
4. Must have a minimum of one year nursing experience.
5. Home Health experience is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
