Summary:

The Home Health Nurse, RN is responsible for administering skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermittent professional nursing service.

Registered Nurse (RN) Essential Job Functions:
1. Creates positive experiences for internal and external customers that will meet their expectations. Displays a high degree of courtesy, tact, and knowledge of services provided by the agency in all contact with staff, patients, and visitors.2. Provides comfort to patient/family to facilitate quality of life and death with dignity.3. Maintains current electronic documentation and downloads daily: (a) ensures complete documentation on an ongoing basis supporting Hospice guidelines & COPs. (b) assessment information to be entered in McKesson and completed in 48 hours.4. Ensures that the physician and/or Hospice Medical Director is involved ongoing with the patient's care.

Requirements:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse, in good standing in North Carolina.Prefer Home Health/Hospice Experience.Preferred minimum of one year experience in Acute Care Setting.Current CPR.Vaccination against COVID-19 is mandatory at our organization unless you are approved for an accommodation due to a religious objection or ADA covered medical condition. The organization will also review medical recommendations for a delay in vaccination or for other contraindications to vaccination.
